" An absolute must for a fabrication shop and site work, bought one when they first came out(cost alot more back then) this is a, weapon of a tool, no need to strip down like other makes to turn into a drill, just release the lock screw and slip the motor up the carrier, and fit the chuck, everything you need comes in a super strong case ( no broach cutters of course) good strong magnet torque controlled motor, last one lasted for 6yrs used every day only thing that broke up until it died was the power cord."
" Every impressed with the power of the magnet and the build quality of the whole tool. Also useful to me is the fact that the whole slider mechanism can be raised to enable long drill bits to be used. 3 year warranty is good too. "
" To list the upgrades from the previous model:
- The motor has an intelligent anti-snatch system. If you bite too hard or it detects a snatch it backs off or stops. With so much torque this is really good way of preventing accidents.
- The motor/gearbox module is removable and fully adjustable. Very handy for changing bits, using longer tools or drilling into a raised section.
- The coolant feed is more refined. Rather than having to deal with the coolant feed bearing, its all integral now, just plumbs into the side of the machine.
- It comes with a chuck adapter and key chuck. Swapping the shafts on the old machine was a pain, this is much easier now. "
